I came to know Molly in an unexpected way. She posted a teaser picture of her debut novel Edge of Chaos on Facebook, and I commented how much I loved that picture. The next thing you know, she is offering me an ARC. I jumped at the opportunity blindly, without knowing anything about her writing style. I usually don’t do that. I never accept ARCs from authors directly because I am a very picky reader. I don’t like the pressure of needing to like the work because I like the person. But luckily, my impulsive behavior paid off big time. I loved Edge of Chaos. It was fresh and exciting, plus Molly is a hell of a writer.
I met Molly in person last June at UtopiaCon and she’s as nice in person as she is online. When I asked her if she wanted to answer a few questions for my Fun Fact Friday blog post, she immediately said yes. So here it is folks. I hope you enjoy. And make sure to check out her books. She has a 3rd novel coming in the Love on the Edge series that looks amazing (and I’ve got an ARC, hehe).
1.Name the celebrity you would like to be stuck with inside an elevator.
Living? It would be J. K Rowling because…well, we’d discuss books and characters and obviously become best friends. Dead? It would be Elvis. Always.
2.You partied too hard in Vegas and ended up in a jail cell in Mexico, who got arrested with you?
Oh this one is EASY lol Rebecca Yarros, Mindy Ruiz, and Cindi Madsen. (Okay, I’m laughing at this one because I can totally picture it).
3.And who do you call to bail you out?
Geneva and Elise Lee.
4.‘Love at first sight’ or ‘Friends to lovers’?
Friends to lovers here. I absolutely adore this trope and it may be because I was best friends with my husband for five years before we started dating. Best Marriage Ever :). (Aww, that’s sweet).
5.You were on a secret mission and got caught by the enemy. Which fictional character do you call to rescue you?
Daryl Dixon. (Ha! I knew it!)
6.Name your favorite song(s).
If I Can Dream—Elvis Presley and Come in Closer and Fear—Blue October.
7.Your last meal on Earth would be….
Double Cheeseburgers and Chocolate Milkshakes (yes, there would be plural lol).
8.Please share a fun fact about yourself.
I still dream about winning a World Series of Poker bracelet someday.
